Matthews: Obama 'The Finest President We've Had In I Don't Know How Long'

On Thursday’s broadcast of CBS’ “The Late Show,” MSNBC host Chris Matthews dubbed President Obama “the finest president we’ve had in I don’t know how long.”

Matthews said, “He’s the finest president we’ve had in I don’t know how long. … I mean, he did so many things. and he did it all, and there’s not a bit of scandal. His family’s completely perfect. The kids are perfect. He’s everybody — every conservative’s dream of a president, except, he’s not their dream of a president. It’s just not the way it is, for whatever reason.”
