On Wednesday’s broadcast of MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-MD) characterized President Donald Trump’s budget as more “hateful” and abominable” than any budget he’s ever seen, and one that “slams” everyone in the country, except for those who are “very well-off.”
Van Hollen said, “[W]e’re going to fight this tooth and nail. You and I have seen a lot of budgets, from Democratic and Republican presidents. I’ve never seen anything as hateful and abominable as this. This slams everybody in America. Rural America, urban America, everyone in America, except, of course, folks who are very well-off.”
