Monday on Fox News Channel’s “Fox & Friends,” former Republican congressman and network contributor Jason Chaffetz said he did not know why Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-KY) should keep his leadership role considering his lack of accomplishments with Republicans in control of Congress.

Chaffetz said, “Look when the team isn’t performing well and putting wins up on the board, a lot of people on that team want to see a change in the coach.”

He added, “I don’t know what the case is to keep him. With all due respect, he’s a very nice gentleman. He’s very accomplished. But you’ve got to actually produce things, and they haven’t been able to do that.”
