During an interview broadcast on Thursday’s edition of MSNBC’s “Andrea Mitchell Reports,” former Vice President Joe Biden stated he couldn’t think of any reason for President Trump’s reluctance to confront Vladimir Putin besides the president’s concern over “what Putin might say or do or what information he may or may not have.”

Anchor Andrea Mitchell asked, “Why do you think this president is so reluctant to take on Vladimir Putin?”

Biden answered, “Look, I — you know, I want to give every American, including the president, the benefit of the doubt, but I can’t fathom any reason other than he is concerned of what Putin might say or do or what information he may or may not have.”
