On Tuesday’s broadcast of CNN’s “New Day,” Senator Chris Coons (D-DE) said he believes it’s no longer a question of if, but when, President Trump takes “some action” against Special Counsel Mueller’s investigation,

Coons said, “I spoke to several Republican colleagues over the weekend, and I think they see as I see, that the president’s tempo and tenor after the Michael Cohen raid has changed significantly. And I think there is no longer the question of if he will take some action against this investigation, but when, whether it’s firing Rod Rosenstein or trying to pressure the attorney general to resign or doing something more direct right at the special counsel.”
