Saturday on MSNBC, Rep. Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) said the Democrats were focused on bettering the country while Republicans are raising the “specter of impeachment” to distract from their lack of accomplishments and plans for the future.
“[W]hat we are seeing is the president and his allies are the ones that are actually raising the specter of impeachment because they have nothing affirmative or positive to talk about as it relates to what they’ve accomplished or their vision for the American people moving forward,” Jeffries stated.
