Tuesday, on the Fox News Channel’s “The Ingraham Angle,” host Laura Ingraham responded to Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James accusing President Donald Trump of using “sport to divide.”

Ingraham, who previously told James to “shut up and dribble,” argued the athletes taking a knee during the National Anthem before football games are the ones dividing, and the president has just been speaking out against protests that fans didn’t like.

“Why is the president dividing us along sports lines?” Ingraham questioned. “People kneel at the National Anthem at football games. I mean, the people in the stands reacted to that. Trump spoke about it, but the fans didn’t like it.”

Ingraham noted athletes have “every right” to comment on politics because they are American citizens, but said fans do not go to sporting events to see political statements.

“I think that what we find is that when you go to sporting events, people just want to enjoy the sports. They want to enjoy LeBron on the — and it doesn’t mean he doesn’t do great things. He does great things,” she stated.
