Alec Baldwin is back to business as usual on Twitter. That means he’s once again blasting his ideological opponents with all the civility of an MMA fighter pounding a fallen foe.

Baldwin, who temporarily suspended his Twitter activities following his infamous dustup aboard an American Airlines flight late last year, lashed out at Republican Sen. James Inhofe over the weekend. Inhofe remains one of the most vocal politicians against the global warming industry, and is allegedly in Big Oil’s pocket, according to the actor’s reasoning. That was more than enough to make Baldwin let loose via social media.

Fellow actor Matthew Modine later chimed in to support the “30 Rock” star via his own Twitter account, persuading Baldwin to fire off another Tweet on the subject.
