Julianna Margulies isn’t the “Stand By Your Man” type.

Margulies, who rose to fame as a cast member on “ER” before landing a starring gig via CBS’s “The Good Wife,” says she has little sympathy for the women whose lives echo her latest TV character. On “Wife,” Margulies plays a woman betrayed by her political hubby.

The actress’ feelings on the subject came clear when she watched in horror as two real-life political wives showed their support for their cheating spouses:

I remember thinking, Get off the stage! she told More magazine’s April issue about watching Silda Spitzer and Dina McGreevey stand humiliated at press conferences as their husbands admitted wrongdoing.

I couldn’t believe the women were gullible enough to get up there, and I couldn’t believe that the men could be such assh*les as to ask.

Maybe the Spitzers and the Clintons already had an arrangement … frankly I don’t care. There are some things where you go, It’s none of your business.
