The ABC series “GCB,” which drew the ire of religious groups for its often nasty portrait of Christians, won’t be coming back for a second season.
The show, which stars Leslie Bibb, Annie Potts and Kristin Chenoweth, featured morally dubious Christians who led lives far removed from their spiritual trappings, got axed by ABC today.
“Harry’s Law” starring Oscar-winner Kathy Bates, also got cancelled after two seasons.
The news was better for other shows today, as ABC’s “Scandal” scored a second season, as did the comedy “Whitney.”
