Jon Stewart of “The Daily Show” fame usually spends his allotted time defending President Barack Obama from the leader’s own bungled policies.
That’s a full-time job, no doubt.
This week, Stewart couldn’t ignore the awful optics of Obama seeing a world aflame and choosing to spend time with gals of “The View” rather than his fellow world leaders.
The current U.N. meetings are a perfect time for some “high level Prez on Prez action,” Stewarts says, his faux indignation rising.
“I’m sure there’s a good reason why President Obama’s not gonna meet face to face with world leaders in these difficult and historic times,” he asks before rolling out a clip revealing Obama’s plans to visit “The View.”
