Celebrities breathed a sigh of relief last night as President Barack Obama didn’t repeat his lethargic debate performance from the previous presidential showdown.

That wasn’t enough for some liberal stars. They had to profess their hate for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney via social media.

Actor Jared Leto went straight for the jugular with his inane tweet.

Judd Apatow, uber-comedy producer behind “Superbad” and “Bridesmaids,” retweeted a race-baiting comment that squeezed in plenty of bile in under 140 characters. 

Apatow is rich and white … should we hate him, too?

Nathan Fillion, beloved star of “Firefly” and ABC’s “Castle,” features this quote on his Twitter page: “It costs nothing to say something kind. Even less to shut up altogether.”

It’s likely he didn’t re-read that when he retweeted this comment:

And then there’s Eva Longoria, who didn’t write something offensive but retweeted a callous comment all the same.
