Jon Stewart couldn’t help but wade in on the week’s oral arguments regarding same sex marriage.

The Daily Show host soon took off his clown nose in order to mock conservative justices who dared to ask questions about gay marriage, going to far as to call Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia the “Grinch” at one point during his shtick. Maybe Stewart was inspired by comedian Patton Oswalt, who used his Twitter page to call the conservative justice an “evil hop frog.”
