Former Beatle Paul McCartney is the latest celebrity lending his voice to the current gun control chorus.

The former Beatle recorded a voice message that’s part of a text-to-call operation Wednesday for Bennett’s Voices Against Violence campaign. McCartney and others are encouraging Americans to send a text, which will lead to the singer’s message and connect the caller to their local Senate office after providing their zip code.

Celebrities ralled en masse in the wake of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting to push for gun control via a video message dubbed “Demand a Plan.”

Bennett caused a furor earlier this year when he compared the U.S. to Nazi-era Germany due to the country’s belief in the Second Amendment.
