John Oliver, the British comedian keeping Jon Stewart’s seat warm for the summer, jumped into matters on his first night in the big chair.
He offered up a new segment, “Good News: You’re Not Paranoid” in order to smite government eavesdropping anew.
“I bet the Amish are feeling pretty [expletive] smug right now,” he said over the latest revelations regarding domestic spy programs.
