Singer and former teen star Selena Gomez made a calculated effort to shake up her wholesome image by starring in the hard R-rated drama Spring Breakers earlier this year.

Over the weekend, Gomez took another step in that direction but it likely wasn’t pre-meditated. She appeared at the Jingle Ball concert at the Staples Center Dec. 6, and a flurry of audio problems had the singer hopping mad.

From the beginning of her performance, Gomez was visibly upset with audio malfunctions. Things took a turn for the worse when the “Come and Get It”singer dropped the F-bomb yelling “what the fu*k?” to crew members.

She returned to the stage a short time later apologizing to the audience. “Are you guys having a good night? I promise, a lot cooler people are gonna come out tonight,” she told the crowd. She then promised to perform two more hits, but pulled the plug after just one song.
