Actress and comedian Rebel Wilson echoed a popular belief about the Kardashian family, saying on a radio show Wednesday that they have no discernible talent and are famous simply for being famous.

The Pitch Perfect star appeared on “The Kyle and Jackie O Show” out of Australia, where she revealed why she passed on a chance to take the stage with the two youngest of the clan, Kendall and Kylie, at the latest MTV Video Music Awards.

“I got asked to present with Kendall and Kylie at the latest VMAs, but I said, ‘No, I’d rather do it myself,'” Wilson told KIIS FM. “What they stand for is totally against what I stand for.”

“They seem a bit superficial, and their careers aren’t really based on talent,” she added.

Wilson said she has put forth a lot of effort to get to where she is today, while noting that Kim Kardashian received her fame due to a sex tape.

“Kim Kardashian got famous from the sex tape, and I just went to acting school and worked really hard,” she said.

Comedian Amy Schumer took a jab at the famous family last month while hosting Saturday Night Live.

“We have to be a role model for these little girls because who do they have? All they have, literally, is the Kardashian’s,” said Schumer. “And is that a great message for little girls? A whole family of women that take the faces they were born with as a light suggestion? Is that great? No.”

ABC’s Barbara Walters interviewed the Kardashian clan as part of her “10 Most Fascinating People” in 2011. In a video clip that has resurfaced time and again, Walters called them out for having no discernible talent.

“You don’t really act, you don’t sing, you don’t dance, you don’t have any, forgive me, any talent,” said Walters at the time.
