Country music legend Dolly Parton suggests that America’s next president will be affected by “PMS,” whether that’s Democrat Hillary Clinton or Republican Donald Trump.

“I think no matter if it’s Hillary or Donald Trump, we’re gonna be plagued with PMS either way — presidential mood swings!” Parton said in a recent interview with the New York Times to discuss politics..

The 70-year-old “Jolene” singer also threw her support behind Clinton, telling the paper that a having a female in the Oval Office would be “wonderful.”

“Hillary might make as good a president as anybody ever has,” Parton told the Times, adding: “I personally think a woman would do a great job. I think Hillary’s very qualified. So if she gets it, I’ll certainly be behind her.”

Clinton has been a big fan of Parton’s for many years.

When she first ran for president in 2008, Clinton frequently came out to Parton’s hit song “Nine to Five.”

Clinton also threw herself a Dolly Parton-themed birthday party while she was First Lady.

Earlier this month, the country music star came out in support of the campaign to repeal North Carolina’s new transgender bathroom law.

“I think everybody should be treated with respect,” Parton said in the short video clip, posted to Facebook. “I hope that everybody gets a chance to be who and what they are.”
