California rapper The Game continued his mission to “spread positivity” by recording a short video with LAPD Police Chief Charlie Beck pleading for an end to all shootings in Los Angeles.

TMZ posted video showing the rapper and L.A.’s top cop joining forces for peace and unity after The Game and his fellow California rapper Snoop Dogg led a march for peace to the Los Angeles Police Department’s headquarters last week, where the pair held a joint press conference with Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti and Beck.

In the short video, the pair challenge L.A. citizens to “be the change” they want to see in their communities.

“Humanity. It has to resurface,” The Game says.

The Game’s partnership with Beck may be disconcerting to Black Lives Matter activists, who have publicly called for the police chief to be fired in recent months.

Earlier this week, The Game launched his “Yo Mama My Mama” campaign, which takes one lucky mother on a $1,000 grocery shopping spree.

“So in the midst of all the negativity & tragedy the world has witnessed over the past 10 days… I wake up on a mission to try to spread as much positivity as possible in hopes of shifting the negativity & creating a more peaceful vibe amongst us all,” The Game wrote on his Instagram account.

“So today we allowed someone to highlight their mother & tell us why she deserved this $1,000 grocery shopping spree,” the rapper explained.

The first mother to be chosen by The Game was a mother of eight named Victoria Hicks.

“Loved it!!! Grateful speechless!!! #kingtitus #yomamamymama,” wrote on her Instagram page.

The Game shared pictures and posted a video explaining the campaign to his 6.6 million followers.

“Not only was it cool to help out a hardworking mother of 8… It was also heartwarming to meet “TI’TUS @eunice_hicks son… You know game love luhhhhh the kids,” The Game, himself a father of three, wrote.

The 36-year-old rapper says he plans to continue “highlighting other #MotherOfTheDay’s & figuring out creative ways to show them how much we appreciate them.”

Last week, The Game participated in a secret meeting between 100 black celebrities and activists and Compton Mayor Aja Brown at the home of actor Cedric the Entertainer to discuss potential solutions to the racial tension that has flared up across the country in recent weeks.

The rapper also recently started a GoFundMe fundraising drive on behalf of Little Rock, Arkansas police officer Tommy Norman, a white officer known for spending time with youth in the predominantly black communities he serves. The campaign raised more than $70,000 for the officer.
