John Legend says it’s only a matter of time until President Donald Trump is impeached.

“I think he’s already done enough to be impeached,” the Grammy-winning Darkness and Light singer said in a wide-ranging interview with the Independent, before seemingly insisting that it will take Democrats regaining majorities in Congress before it could happen.

“Now it’s just a matter of when Congress has the guts to do it. And it may not happen until after 2018, but it may happen sooner if enough evidence is presented against him,” Legend added.

While Legend is eager to see Trump’s ousting, the Grammy-winner singer says he’s not thrilled about the prospect of President Mike Pence.

“I’m not super optimistic for a Mike Pence presidency either, but at least I think he’s not insane,” he said. “He doesn’t seem like he’s a psycho.”

Legend is no fan of Trump. And the singer has spent the last few months predicting Trump’s political ruin.

In February the crooner told Fault magazine “Trump’s America’ won’t last very long and we get him out of here within the next four years.”

Later, Legend told the Independent that Trump represents the “Christian white straight man” who feel like victims in a world that’s becoming more and more progressive.

“And I feel like they have a bit of a backlash against anything that celebrates another type of existence whether it’s women, LGBTQ, people of color,” the singer said, despite that fact that Trump is proud of his LGBTQ supporters and recently proclaimed April as National Sexual Assault Awareness and Prevention Month.

“There are some that feel like any type of inclusion, any interruption of the overall domination of white men, is some kind of front,” he added.
