Major LGBT-Focused Talent Agencies Merge To Create Drag-Queen Powerhouse

Two major LGBT Hollywood talent agencies, PEG and EPRT, have merged to create what they call “the most diverse talent management, branding, recording and touring roster in LGBT entertainment.”

The Hollywood Reporter reports that major LGBT talent agencies Producer Entertainment Group (PEG) and Executive PR and Talent (EPRT) have merged to create one large powerhouse firm, representing some of the world’s biggest LGBT actors, dancers, performers, and drag-queens. PEG’s roster of performers includes some of RuPaul’s Drag Race‘s most well-known performers including Bob the Drag Queen, Alaska 5000, Sharon Needles and Michelle Visage.

EPRT represents major LGBT artists such as Boy George and Culture Club, Joan Jett and LeAnn Rimes. EPRT also represent a number of popular drag-queens including Courtney Act, Roxxxy Andrews and Derrick Barry while also representing popular LGBT public speakers such as Lance Bass, Laverne Cox and Ross Matthews. PEG founder David Charpentier discussed the merger in a statement saying, “Michael Benedetti, founder of EPRT, has created the strongest LGBT talent agency outside our own. Our merger will create the most diverse talent management, branding, recording and touring roster in LGBT entertainment.”

EPRT and PEG will reportedly continue to operate under their own names for the time being, but staffing will soon be shared between the companies’ offices in Los Angeles, New Orleans, and New York.
