First Lady Melania Trump kicked off the beginning of Christmas celebrations at the White House wearing the “It” stiletto boot of the winter season.

Last night, Melania stepped off Air Force One and went straight to the White House, where she was greeted by the Christmas decorations she helped design. Melania wore an oversized Acne Studies grey ribbed turtleneck sweater that retails for $409 and a pair of classic black J Brand skinny jeans.

It was Melania’s boots, though, that took the look from casual winter-wear to holiday fashion. The “It” boots are a staple for the Christmas season, with Melania’s pair coming from Victoria Beckham’s Fall/Winter collection.

The scrunchy, mid-knee boots are a rendition of the highly-coveted Saint Laurent boots designed by Anthony Vaccarello, who is the creative force currently behind YSL.

At Saint Laurent, the scrunchy throwback-to-the-1980s boots come in an array of colors and styles, from knee-high brown leather to disco-ball sequins.
