Netflix has canceled a press tour for the cast of Arrested Development following backlash over allegations of on set bullying and harassment against actor Jeffrey Tambor.

“We had planned to have most of the Arrested Development cast in London this week to support the launch of the new season and meet fans,” Netflix said in a statement on Thursday. “At this time we have decided not to move ahead with promotional activity in the U.K. but hope to bring the cast back at another time.”

The cancelation comes after actress Jessica Walters tearfully admitted in an interview with The New York Times that co-star Jeffrey Tambor had verbally harassed her on set.

“In almost 60 years of working, I’ve never had anybody yell at me like that on a set,” she said. “And it’s hard to deal with, but I’m over it now.

Although Walters maintained that Tambor “never crossed the line” into sexual harassment, Tambor faces separate claims that he sexually harassed two transgender actors while working on the hit Amazon series Transparent. He has since resigned from the series.

On Thursday, fellow co-star Jason Bateman apologized for having defended Tambor, claiming that he was left “incredibly embarrassed and deeply sorry” about the affair.

“I sound like I’m condoning yelling at work,” he wrote on Twitter. “I do not. It sounds like I’m excusing Jeffery. I do not. It sounds like I’m insensitive to Jessica. I am not. In fact, I’m horrified that I wasn’t more aware of how this incident affected her.”

Fellow cast member David Cross also said he would apologize for dismissing Waters’s complaint.

“So I will unequivocally apologize to Jessica. I’m sorry that we behaved the way we behaved,” Cross said during an interview with Gothamist on Thursday. “Whatever the criticisms are, I will own up. I don’t even know what they are, as I said, I saw the initial thing but I jumped off [social media] at the behest of various people.”

Arrested Development returns for its fifth season on May 29.
