UKIP leader Nigel Farage has become the face of bookmaker Paddy Power’s latest advertising campaign surrounding the Ryder Cup golf tournament, in which a Europe-wide team takes on a United States of America contingent.

The advertisements are set to be heavily promoted on YouTube and social networking website Vine.

The light-hearted approach to the campaign is based broadly off Mr Farage’s ‘Love Europe, Hate the European Union’ rhetoric which he has used on numerous occasions, including at the television debates against Deputy Prime Minister Nick Clegg.

The series features a number of jokes aimed at politicos and non-politicos alike, with one noteworthy moment being his parody of President George W. Bush’s now infamous “watch this drive” comment.
