The wife of an Islamic State (IS) jihadist who helped massacre 90 people at the Bataclan concert hall during a string of terrorist attacks in Paris has boasted of her new life in Mosul via a series of email intercepts.

She revealed she would have “loved” to have blown herself up alongside her French-born husband, Samy Amimour.

Amimour, 28, was one of three gunman who executed civilians in the French capital on 13 November before taking his own life.

According to the International Business Times, just days after the IS attack Amimour’s teenage wife, Kahina, emailed a friend praising her husband and life in Iraq. The 18-year-old currently lives in Mosul, an IS stronghold and Iraq’s second city.

She told Le Parisien: “I have a furnished apartment with a fitted kitchen, two bathrooms and three bedrooms, and I don’t pay rent, electricity or water bills. What a great life.” Kahina, a mother-of-one, was said to have lived close to Amimour in Paris. He was a former bus driver who was placed on a watch list of potential terrorists after he tried to travel to Yemen in 2012.

Kahina said: “I am so proud of my husband and to vaunt his merits. I knew from the outset (of his plans) and I encouraged my husband to leave to terrorise the French people who have so much blood on their hands.” She added: “I’m so envious of (him). I would have loved to have been with him to blow myself up as well.”

Amimour was subject to an international arrest warrant in 2013 and his father claims to have travelled to IS’ de-facto capital, Raqqa, to try and convince him to return. He later adopted the name Abu Hajia – which means war.

Kahina added: “You kill us, we kill you, the equation is simple. As long as you continue to offend Islam and Muslims, you will be potential targets, and not just cops and Jews but everyone.”

Three men stormed the Bataclan at around 21:40 on 13 November, during a concert by the Eagles of Death Metal rock group. They opened fire on concert-goers, repeatedly reloading their guns before police started to arrive at the scene.

Amimour, from the north-eastern Paris suburb of Drancy, had been charged with terror offences in 2012 over claims he planned to travel to Yemen.

After being placed under judicial supervision, he disappeared, with authorities issuing an international arrest warrant.
