California’s latest candidates for parents of the year have now emerged: Marco and Sandy Cuevas, who were arrested on Thursday in Moorpark after cops found a half-pound of cocaine in the back seat of the car. Next to their five-year-old son. Who, it turns out, tested positive for the powder.

The police did say that they believed that the boy may have ingested the powder from sitting next to it.

But that wasn’t the only cocaine in the car. Marco was carrying several ounces, according to the Los Angeles Times, and his wife had $10,000 on her.

A search of their home allegedly turned up pot, over 12 firearms, thousands of rounds of ammo, and pounds of pot. The Ventura County Sheriff’s Office stated that it believed the doting father had been supplying teens in the county with cocaine.
