On Wednesday, in a scene right out of The Thrill of It All, a 40-ish man drove his car into a swimming pool in Camarillo, California. Capt. Mike Lindbery of the Ventura County Fire Department said the accident occurred at 7:52 p.m.

The Ventura County Star reported that the car crashed through the leasing office at the Allure at Camarillo Apartment Home, then plunged in the community pool. The paper also stated that the man may have been impaired due to a medical emergency.

According to local news affiliate KTLA, rescue workers reported that the driver was disoriented and trapped in the car for about fifteen minutes.
