Report: Hezbollah CFO Flees to Israel with $5 Million

Reports indicate that Hezbollah CFO Hussein Fahs has fled to Israel with maps, a large sum of money, and classified documents.

Fahs had been suspected of collaboration with Israel, and had already been arrested once for suspicion of embezzling millions from Hezbollah.

Since 2009, there have been over 100 arrests tied to suspicions that Israeli intelligence has infiltrated Hezbollah ranks. And reports indicate Fahs may have faced arrest again in the coming week had he not fled.

It is believed Fahs took $5 million with him when he fled to Israel. Both Israel and Hezbollah have denied the defection.
