Malaysia Airlines MH17 was allegedly shot down four days ago, and the site of its impact is still unprotected.

Journalists went back to the site Sunday morning, and anyone is allowed to walk the area. Very few armed pro-Russian rebels are present and civilians are actually walking around the debris.

Victims in the crash were transported to the Torez train station in refrigerated cars. However, the bodies were out in the heat for almost four days. Pro-Russian forces claimed the plane’s black boxes are in Donetsk but will stay there until experts arrive.
