The earthquake that ripped through Nepal early on Saturday morning has now claimed more than 3,200 lives, with aftershocks triggering a second avalanche on Mouth Everest.

The UK’s foreign office has confirmed there are no reports of Britons being injured or killed, but several British citizens are believed to be trapped on Everest and are still awaiting rescue.
