German Franco Foda has been renamed as coach of Austrian first division club Sturm Graz, manager-less since Darko Milanic left for Leeds.

Foda, 48, led Sturm Graz to the Austrian title in 2011 while enjoying a six year spell at the helm between 2006-2012.

His most recent coaching job was at Kaiserslautern in the German second division, who missed out on promotion to the Bundesliga in last season’s play-offs.

After 10 games, Sturm Graz have just 12 points and sit in sixth place in an Austrian league dominated by Wolfsberg (24 pts).
