March 2 (UPI) — Bachelor Nation is expanding beyond its traditional dating format this month, beginning with the premiere of HGTV’s Bachelor Mansion Takeover on Monday night and continuing with a primetime reunion special following the Oscars ahead of the next season of The Bachelorette.

In Bachelor Mansion Takeover, past Bachelor Nation contestants return to the site of the iconic reality television series to give the space a makeover.

The bunk rooms, rose room, mixer room, terrace, kitchen and pool area will each be getting a refresh, a press release states.

Tayisha Adams and Tyler Cameron will judge the contestants’ work as each player vies for a $100.000 prize.

“For the first time ever, we’re pulling back the curtain and revealing the mansion as you’ve never seen it before. Our 12 contestants have already lived through the twists and turns of The Bachelor franchise. They know this is not going to be easy. And the clock is ticking because this renovation has to be finished before a new season of The Bachelorette begins,” host Jesse Palmer said in a statement.

The 12 competitors include Dean Bell, Jill Chin, Noah Erb, Allyshia Gupta, Tammy Ly, Sandra Mason, Sam McKinney, Brendan Morais, Courtney Robertson Preciado, Jeremy Simon, Christopher Stallworth and Joan Vassos.

Hannah Brown, who was the Season 15 Bachelorette, will serve as a guest judge, as well Nate Berkus, Rachel Bilson, JoJo Fletcher, Christina Haack and Sean Lowe.

The premiere comes as the long-running dating franchise prepares for its next chapter.

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star Taylor Frankie Paul, 31, is the next Bachelorette, which airs March 22 on ABC and streams on Hulu beginning March 23.

The single mom of three has amassed a large following on TikTok beyond her role on Mormon Wives, a press release states.

Paul announced her next chapter on a September episode of the Call Her Daddy podcast, and a trailer for the upcoming season features Taylor Swift’s “Look What You Made Me Do.”

Viewers will get a first look at Paul’s season on the Before the First Rose special on March 15 following The Oscars.

“Eighteen former Bachelorettes look back on their unforgettable journeys, share juicy behind-the-scenes stories, and offer heartfelt advice to the newest leading lady, Taylor Frankie Paul,” an official logline reads.

The 22 contestants competing for Paul’s heart range in age from 28 to 43.

“I am a take-home-to-mom type,” declared Shane, a private wealth planner, in a trailer.

Others include a lifeguard, a cowboy and entrepreneur, a chiropractic healer and a former pro baseball player.

The next Bachelor has not yet been announced, but there are rumors that Robert Irwin may be the next leading man.

“Who knows? It’s a strange world. Anything could happen,” he told Entertainment Tonight.

Other Bachelor Nation franchises include Golden Bachelor, Golden Bachelorette and Bachelor in Paradise.
