Feb. 13 (UPI) — The Criterion Collection announced their May titles on Friday. The erotic thriller Body Heat, Lenny Bruce biopic Lenny, contemporary award nominees and more are among additions.

The 1981 Body Heat was screenwriter Lawrence Kasdan’s directorial debut. He would go on to write and direct The Big Chill, The Accidental Tourist, Grand Canyon and more

William Hurt starred as a lawyer and Kathleen Turner as a femme fatale. Kasdan approved a new 4K restoration and gave a new interview for the Criterion edition.

A new interview with historians also joins archival features with Hurt, Turner, Ted Danson and filmmakers, plus deleted scenes. It will be released May 19.

The Oscar-nominated Sentimental Value joins the Criterion Collection in its first home video release. The film stars Stellan Skarsgärd as a director making a film about his mother.

While trying to reconnect with his daughters (Renate Reinsve and Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas), he casts an actor (Elle Fanning) in the film. Writer/director Joachim Trier approved the 4K edition and provided a new interview and scene-specific commentary. The cast also gave interviews and deleted scenes are included in the May 26 release.

Dustin Hoffman played Lenny Bruce in the 1974 Lenny, coming to Criterion Collection 4K UHD on May 26. Interviews with Hoffman, Valerie Perrine, editor Alan Heim and a 2015 commentary with historians are included.

Ira Sachs’s Spirit Award nominated Peter Hujar’s Day also joins the Criterion Collection as part of Criterion Premieres on May 12. Ben Wishaw plays photographer Hujar in scenes based on Linda Rosenkrantz’s (Rebecca Hall) interviews with him.

Sachs’ 1996 film The Delta also joins the collection on May 12. Shu Lea Cheang’s 1994 Fresh Kill will be released May 19.
