May 10 (UPI) — Jurassic World and The Guardians of the Galaxy star Chris Pratt will be honored with a career achievement prize at the MTV Movie and TV Awards ceremony.
Tiffany Haddish will host the event on June 18.
“And your Generation Award recipient at the 2018 #MTVAwards is….Chris Pratt,” the network tweeted Thursday.
“Thanks MTV!! I just cut my speech down to a brisk 45 minutes. #GenerationAward,” the actor wrote in his own Twitter post.
Pratt, 38, is also known for his work in The O.C., Parks and Recreation and The LEGO Movie. He can now be seen in Avengers: Infinity War.
