White House temporarily evacuated: reports - Breitbart

The West Wing of the White House was temporarily evacuated Saturday morning after someone reported smoke coming out of a closet, US media reported.

CNN said President Barack Obama, whose offices are in the West Wing, was not affected by the incident, and cited a Secret Service spokesman as saying the evacuation was ordered after someone reported smoke.

Fire trucks that responded to the incident were being withdrawn from outside the White House, it said.
