LONDON, May 18 (UPI) — Daniel Craig will reportedly cameo in {i:Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens}.

Fellow English actor Simon Pegg inadvertently revealed the news in {link:an interview: “http://www.thesun.co.uk/sol/homepage/showbiz/bizarre/6456715/Daniel-Craig-is-a-Stormtrooper-reveals-Simon-Pegg.html”,nw} with The Sun. Pegg {link:was spotted on set: “http://www.thenational.ae/arts-lifestyle/film/exclusive-helidubai-pilot-says-working-on-star-wars-was-the-most-exciting-experience-of-his-life”,nw} with director J.J. Abrams in May 2014, and subsequently rumored to appear in the film.

“I wasn’t a Stormtrooper. Daniel Craig, he was a Stormstrooper,” he told the British publication before adding, “I shouldn’t have said that.”

Craig {link:is currently filming: “http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-england-london-32777018″,nw} new James Bond movie {i:Spectre} in London. The upcoming installment marks the 47-year-old actor’s fourth appearance as the fictional British secret service agent, and opens in theaters Nov. 6.

Pegg will next appear with Ophelia Lovibond in British romantic comedy {i:Man Up}.
