LOS ANGELES, June 13 (UPI) — Emma Roberts is switching up her look ahead of Scream Queens Season 2.

The 25-year-old actress transformed her long, auburn hair into a short, blonde bob with the help of Los Angeles stylist Nikki Lee of Nine Zero One salon.

“And just like that… she’s back! @emmaroberts #NineZeroOne #901Girl #DreamyButterCream,” Lee captioned a photo of the star’s look on Instagram.

Roberts initially went shorter after the Fox horror-comedy’s Season 1 finale and debuted “desert rose”-colored tresses in March ahead of Coachella. The actress told Teen Vogue in May she would returning to blonde for Season 2.

“I had been blonde [to play] Chanel [on Scream Queens] for so long. I just wanted to do something new and mix it up,” she said of her then-auburn locks. “I think I feel most myself as a redhead which, who knew?”

“[I’m] sad I’m going to have to dye my hair blonde again because I’m loving being a redhead [but I’m] excited to get to come back to the show,” the star added. “The writing on [Scream Queens] is like nothing I’ve ever done. It’s always exciting.”

Scream Queens Season 2 will co-star Abigail Breslin, Lea Michele and Jamie Lee Curtis. Roberts is also slated for the thriller Nerve with Dave Franco and Billionaire Boys Club with Taron Egerton.
