LONDON, April 15 (UPI) — Gemma Arterton, Sam Claflin and Bill Nighy are to star in a big-screen adaptation of Lissa Evans’ 2009 novel Their Finest Hour and a Half, BBC Films announced.
Lone Scherfig is to begin shooting the romantic comedy late this summer.
Arterton is best known for her roles in Lost in Austen, Byzantium, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters, and Quantum of Solace. Claflin’s credits include Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, Snow White and the Huntsman, and the Hunger Games franchise.
Nighy has starred in Love Actually and About Time, as well as The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel movies.
