Sept. 6 (UPI) — Law & Order: SVU icon Mariska Hargitay won two statuettes at the first of this month’s three Emmy Awards ceremonies at the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles Saturday.
Hargitay took home the prizes for Outstanding Directing for a Documentary/Nonfiction Program and Outstanding Documentary or Nonfiction Special for her HBO documentary, My Mom Jayne: A Film by Mariska Hargitay.

The Apple Music Super Bowl LX Halftime Show Starring Bad Bunny, earned seven awards, including Outstanding Live Variety Special.
It also earned the honors for music direction, choreography, sound mixing, lighting design/lighting direction, technical direction, direction of a variety special and camerawork.
Alan Cumming was named Outstanding Host for a Reality or Reality Competition Program for The Traitors, which also won for direction for a reality program, production design, picture editing, cinematography and costumes.
The Late Show with Stephen Colbert earned the accolades for writing, picture editing, lighting design/lighting direction, technical direction and camerawork and direction for a variety series.
Octavia Spencer took home the prize for Outstanding Narrator for Lost Women of Alaska, Jimmy Kimmel won for Outstanding Host of a Game Show for Who Wants to Be a Millionaire and Jeopardy! was voted Outstanding Game Show.
FXX will air highlights from the Saturday and Sunday Emmys shows on Sept. 12. The program will be available for streaming on Hulu the following day.
The 78th Emmys telecast, which will reveal the winners in the top categories, is set to air Sept. 14, on NBC and stream on Peacock.
Hargitay is hosting the third and final ceremony, which celebrated excellence on television.
