March 20 (UPI) — Pluto TV announced a Chuck Norris tribute on Friday. The streaming service offers life programming and video-on-demand for free with advertisements.
Norris’s family announced his death Friday. He was 86.
The Pluto Action Channel is running a movie marathon Friday. Classic TV Drama is running Walker, Texas Ranger episodes from noon to 7 p.m. EDT and on TV Land Drama from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. EDT.
Movies available on demand include the Missing In Action trilogy, both Delta Force films in which Norris starred, Invasion U.S.A., The Octagon, Lone Wolf McQuade, and more. Seasons 8 and 9 of Walker are also available on demand.
Missing In Action predated Rambo: First Blood Part II by a year, showing Norris’s character, Braddock, rescuing prisoners of war still held captive in Vietnam. The Delta Force was based on the 1985 TWA Flight 847 hijacking with Norris and Lee Marvin leading the military squad to rescue hostages.
Invasion U.S.A. followed one year after Red Dawn, with Norris thwarting a Russian invasion beginning in Florida. The Octagon had Norris battling ninjas and Lone Wolf saw Norris play another Texas Ranger.
