March 17 (UPI) — Prime Video has renewed its crime drama, Scarpetta, for a second season.

The adaptation of Patricia Cornwell’s best-selling novel series stars Nicole Kidman as Virginia medical examiner, Dr. Kay Scarpetta; Jamie Lee Curtis as her sister Dorothy; and Bobby Cannavale as Kay’s death investigator and Dorothy’s husband Pete.
Production on the second season has already begun, the cast announced in a video posted on social media Tuesday.
The ensemble also includes Simon Baker, Ariana DeBose, Rosy McEwen, Jake Cannavale and Hunter Parrish.
No premiere date has been announced yet.
