HOUSTON, Aug. 13 (UPI) — Episode one of HBO’s “Hard Knocks” featured DeAngelo Hall getting faked out on a DeAndre Hopkins route, to the chagrin of the Houston Texans.
But the Texans and Washington Redskins practice wasn’t the only place a scuffle broke out.
On Thursday, Hall responded to Hopkins’ Tuesday tweet, which featured a milk carton and made reference to “the whole world” looking for Hall’s ankles, with a comeback.
Hall said “when the highlight of your career is catching a 10yd pass on a DB while he slips and you feel like you did something. #SadDayInFootball”
Hopkins responded by saying “hope treatment is going well.”
Hall fired back with a smug: “I’m good to go young fella. Here’s some advice don’t stutter on your comebacks they’re too easy to read. Take it or leave it.”
