WAM ABU DHABI, 16th April, 2014 (WAM) — Renowned South African corporate strategist and advisor, Sean M. Cleary, Founder and Executive Vice-Chair of Future World Foundation, is set to lead the discussion among more than 70 national, regional and international speakers at the second Abu Dhabi Quality Forum (ADQF 2014) as part of his role as moderator for the opening and closing plenaries.

To be held under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor and Vice Chairman of Abu Dhabi Executive Council from 27-28 April at St. Regis Saadiyat Island Resort, Abu Dhabi, ADQF 2014 will include 10 plenary sessions and 12 workshops that will allow for in-depth discussions on the implementation of quality standards in Abu Dhabi across vital sectors including food, healthcare, child safety, environmental marks and certifications, infrastructure projects and metrology in line with the objectives outlined in the Abu Dhabi Economic Vision 2030.

Sean Cleary is a regular guest lecturer on corporate strategy, globalisation challenges and conflict resolution at leading business schools, defence colleges, universities and institutes in the United States, Europe and South Africa.

Ahead of his participation at Abu Dhabi Quality Forum 2014, Cleary said, "In a globalised world, quality is not an option. Any nation seeking to compete successfully in a globally integrated economy, must deliver high, consistent quality in both its products and services. Regulators and business leaders must work together to identify areas of strength and pockets of weakness, build on the strengths, and eliminate the weaknesses, to meet and exceed internationally accepted standards. By taking the dialogue on quality infrastructure to a global level, ADQF 2014 will continue to drive improvements in the quality of Abu Dhabi’s exports to the world market." ADQF 2014 key sponsors are Emirates Nuclear Energy Corporation (ENEC), Khalifa Industrial Zone Abu Dhabi (Kizad), and Al Hilal Bank, and supporting sponsors are Borouge and Mubadala.

The event aims to provide government leaders, regulators and international and region experts with a collaborative platform for discussing ways to advance Abu Dhabi’s quality infrastructure and enhance the Emirate’s position as a leading hub for quality and conformity.
