MOSCOW, May 23 (UPI) —

Moscow and Iran are negotiating the construction of eight nuclear reactors in Iran, reported RIA Novosti.

According to an unnamed source, negotiations were nearing the final stage with plans to build two nuclear reactors at Iran’s Bushehr Power Plant and six reactors at other, unspecified sites.

News of the possible agreement comes amid a visit by Iranian Defense Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan to Moscow. Dehqan arrived in Moscow on Thursday to attend the International Security Conference.
