National Chairman of the New Black Panther Party Malik Zulu Shabazz joined the syndicated radio show “The Muslim Street” on Sunday. He explained that God had given the New Black Panthers a revelation to offer a bounty on Trayvon Martin shooter George Zimmerman:

Our belief teaches us that we obey man’s law, but when there’s a conflict between man’s law and God’s law, we are duty bound to follow the law of God. And God says that justice must be done. And so we received a revelation, those that work in that particular department in the party received a revelation to work with the community there, and they came together with a $10,000 reward offer for a legal citizen’s arrest. Some are calling it a bounty. Whatever.

President Obama is fond of lamenting religious extremists who use God to justify their violent and subversive activities. Yet his administration is nowhere to be found on this issue. In fact, his Justice Department has refused to prosecute the New Black Panthers for obvious voter intimidation. The good news is that Obama’s war on religion only extends so far; the bad news is that it doesn’t extend far enough to stop the New Black Panthers from incentivizing people to capture, injure, or kill a legal citizen.
