Looks like the astroturfing crowd wasn’t up to snuff this morning at Paul Ryan’s speech about his proposed budget at Georgetown University. As John McCormack points out, despite a TV truck showing up, there were a grand total of 11 people standing outside, holding a sign: “WERE YOU THERE WHEN THEY CRUCIFIED THE POOR?”

Few people will be able to say they were there when Ryan “crucified the poor.” Fewer still will care what those few people have to say.
