If Paul Ryan is resoundingly defeating Joe Biden in Thursday’s vice presidential debate, viewers will now know Biden is not losing purposefully.
Biden told reporters on Thursday that his strategy for the debate was not going to be “rope-a-dope.”
When asked by reporters if he was going to use the “rope-a-dope” strategy — and purposefully allow Ryan to pummel him to tire Ryan out and lull him into a false sense of security so Biden could win in the end — Biden replied, “You ever see me rope-a-dope?”
Never one to mince his words, the gaffe-prone Biden must guard against punching himself out and being his own worst enemy against Ryan.
