Obama Budget Increases Debt Share to $189,000 per Household

An analysis by GOP Senate Budget Committee staff finds that each American household’s share of the U.S. national debt would jump to $189,000 under President Barack Obama’s newly released 2014 budget.

Presently, each household’s share of the debt is $133,000. The Obama budget would raise that figure $56,000 per household over the decade.
