Breitbart News’ coverage of the opening ceremony of the 150th Anniversary of the Battle of Gettysburg will be hosted Breitbart Executive Chairman Stephen K. Bannon and will feature prominent historians, battlefield park guides and experts on the battle. Guests include: novelist Jeff Shaara; historians Allen Guelzo and Rod Gragg; Director of The Civil War Institute Peter Carmichael; Bob Kirby, the Superintendent of the Gettysburg National Battlefield Park; Garry Adelman, Historian of The Civil War Trust. They will join a score of others on the program.

The entire eight-day, 20-hour broadcast is being sponsored by the Tea Party Patriots and the Government Accountability Institute, among others. Next News Network (N3) will be Breitbart News’ distributing partner.

The opening ceremony will feature historian Doris Kearns Goodwin, country music star Trace Adkins, the West Point Band, and a multi-media dramatic interpretation of the three-day battle.

The ceremony will end with the United States Army “Old Guard” from  the Arlington National Cemetery leading the entire audience of 8,000 on a march from the battlefield to the National Military Cemetery, where all 3500 graves will be illuminated by candlelight. The cemetery is where President Lincoln gave a “few appropriate remarks” that became known as the Gettysburg Address.
