Sen. John McCain (R-AZ), appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, gave Sen. Mike Enzi (R-WY) “strong support” in his upcoming primary challenge against Liz Cheney, daughter of former Vice President Dick Cheney.
While acknowledging that everyone has a right to challenge incumbents, McCain said that he and most of his Republican colleagues would support Enzi, calling the three-term Senator the “epitome of a workhorse in the Senate.”
